The spherical plain bearing from GEIGER is used to deflect the crank drive and as a wall feedthrough to the gearbox. The universal design of the 90° spherical bearing plate allows straight or oblique discharge even where the deflection angle required for operation is above the permissible deflection angle of 45° for universal joints and spherical plain bearings. This is achieved by using a ball-bearing double universal joint, which enables comfortable and durable operation of all deflection angles between 45° and 90°.
